The San Gabriel Valley District #20 (SGVD) consists of 28 federated clubs with a combined membership of about 1,500. It is a member of the
California Federation of Women's Clubs (CFWC) as well as the nationwide
General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC).
The GFWC is a non-partisan, non-sectarian, non-profit, charitable organization whose purpose is to combine action among members for the benefit of our various communities through volunteer service. The SGVD co-operates with the state and general federations to promote activities in the departments of

- International Affairs
Each department is divided into several areas covering legislation, scholarships, and California history and landmarks.
In addition, members enjoy the added advantage of leadership training.
