PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE:  LINDA KOONTZ

Can you believe the first year of this administration is behind us and we are gearing up for another successful year for San Gabriel Valley? I am thrilled with the many accomplishments we have made over the past year. Leadership must be a “priority” at the top of our “To Do List” and we must educate, train and mentor our members. Remember your District is here for you. Please attend our “Report Writing Seminar” where two of our CFWC Officers will guide you in making the report writing process an easy one that you can understand.  As you set your goals for this coming year, remember to include everyone so that you are all on the "same page". Take the time to “explain and mentor” all your members. Make sure there are procedure books to always pass on to your new officers and chairmen. Provide the essential tools for your members to understand their duties and commitment. Educate your members so they understand what our organization is all about. Teach them about the various levels of our Federation from the club all the way to GFWC. Encourage your members to attend District events and State events to further educate themselves about the organization they belong to.

My goal is to visit every club in our District. I would be happy to give a presentation on any subject you feel would “benefit” your members….all you have to do is just ask. I encourage you to invite your District Officers and Chairmen to come and speak at any of your meetings. Take advantage of their knowledge and information they want to share with your members. Remember….”To Step Outside The Box and Take The Lead”. I look forward to continuing on our wonderful Journey together with each and every one of you in the final year of this administration. Thank you once again for allowing me to serve as your President.
